Description
The SIM tray is the small part that holds the SIM card and, on some models, the memory card. It slides into the side slot of the phone. When it is cracked, bent or no longer locks in place, the SIM card may not be detected, may shift or may fall out. This compatible tray is designed for the K12 Plus (2019) and replaces the current part when it is damaged.
Before you start, switch off the device and remove the tray using the ejector tool or an unbent paperclip. Work on a flat, clean surface and avoid static discharge by touching a metal surface before handling the components. Do not force or bend the chassis. Compare the compatible tray carefully with the current part: the shape, the cutouts and the card position must match before you insert it.
Once the tray is back in place, switch the phone on and check that the SIM card is detected, that the network appears and that the memory card, if used, is recognised. Also check that the tray closes without play or resistance. If you are unsure about the fitting, stop and start the operation again calmly.
