Description
The SIM tray is the small metal or plastic part that holds the SIM card and, sometimes, a microSD card. It slides into the slot provided on the side of the phone. This compatible part replaces the K30 (2018) tray when it is broken, bent, stuck or has become difficult to pull out.
The most common faults are a tray that no longer comes out, a SIM card that is no longer detected, a damaged seal or a cracked holder after repeated handling. Replacing the tray restores a clean and stable insertion of the SIM card.
Before you start, switch the phone off and remove the old tray with a suitable ejection tool, without forcing it. Check that the part you received matches the K30 (2018) model and compare it with the current part. After fitting, test insertion and removal several times, then check that the SIM card is detected before closing the device.
