Description
The SIM tray is the small part that holds the SIM card and sometimes the microSD card. For the K71 (2020) model, it lets you put the card back in place without forcing it. This compatible part is used to replace a tray that is broken, bent or no longer locks properly into the phone.
Before you start, switch off the device and remove the case. Use a suitable ejection tool or an unfolded paper clip, and avoid excessive pressure on the nearby ribbon cables. Work on a clean surface, protected from static electricity, and keep the temperature moderate.
After fitting, check that the tray opens and closes without play, that the SIM card is detected and that the network appears. Also make sure the part is properly seated before closing the case.
