Description
The SIM tray is the small part that holds the SIM card and, depending on the model, the memory card. It slides into its side slot on the phone. When it is broken, bent or worn, the card no longer sits properly, is not detected, or the tray refuses to go back in. This compatible part is designed to replace the tray of the Huawei Mate 10 Pro (2017) when it is damaged.
Before you begin, switch the smartphone off completely and remove the case. Use the ejection tool supplied with your kit or an unfolded paperclip to open the tray, then pull it out carefully. Avoid sudden movements and never apply excessive pressure to the chassis. Remove the current part by easing it out gently, without forcing it, then insert the new tray, taking care to align it properly.
Once the tray is back in place, check that it slides without friction and that the SIM card is held securely. Switch the device back on and check network detection and, if needed, the memory card. If you are unsure about the procedure, take the time to reread the steps before going ahead.
