Description
The SIM tray is the small part that holds the SIM card and microSD card and keeps them in place inside the phone. When it is broken, bent or no longer clicks into place properly, the card may not be detected or the tray may get stuck. This part, compatible with the Huawei Mate 30 Pro (2019), lets you replace the faulty component and restore a working SIM slot.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and remove the case. Use a pin or an ejection tool to open the current tray, pressing gently so you do not force it. Work in a clean, dry place and avoid static discharge by touching a metal surface before handling the components.
Once the part is fitted, check that the tray slides in without effort, sits straight and that the SIM card is recognised after restarting. If the device does not detect the card, check the alignment and position of the card in its slot before doing anything else.
