Description
The SIM tray is the small part that holds the SIM card and, depending on the model, the memory card. It slides into the edge of the phone and lets you insert or remove these cards without opening the device. This compatible part is designed for the Xiaomi Mi 9.
This reference can replace a tray that is damaged, bent or no longer ejects properly. It notably solves problems of a blocked ejection, a tray that gets stuck or no longer closes properly, and cases where the SIM card is no longer held securely. Before fitting, switch off the phone, remove the tray using the ejection tool and visually compare the current part with the new one to check the shape and fit.
After replacement, insert the tray fully, without forcing it, then check that it is firmly in place and that the SIM card is recognised. Handle the part carefully to avoid electrostatic discharge, and avoid any contact with the battery. Never puncture or bend a lithium component, and do not use a device whose battery is swollen.
