Description
The SIM tray is the small part that holds the SIM card and, on some models, the memory card. It slides into its slot on the side of the phone. On the Mi A3, it can warp, crack or jam over time, and the card then no longer stays in place or is no longer detected.
This compatible part is made by a third party and replaces the current part of the Mi A3. Before fitting, switch off the phone and remove the old tray using an ejector pin. Compare the two trays side by side to check the shape of the notches and the position of the cut-outs.
After reassembly, insert the SIM card, check that the tray slides in without forcing and stays firmly in place. Switch on the phone and check that the network is detected. Work on a clean surface and avoid static electricity.
