Description
The SIM tray is the small part that holds the SIM card and sometimes the microSD memory card. It slides into the side slot of the phone and lets you insert or remove your cards without opening the device. When it is broken, bent or worn, the tray may no longer click into place properly, get stuck halfway or leave the card misaligned, which can cause no network or a card that cannot be detected.
This part compatible with the Mi A3 Plus model is made by a third party. It replaces the current part without changing the rest of the device. Before fitting, switch off the phone, remove the case and use a pin clip to open the tray slot. Avoid any sudden force so you do not damage the circuit board located nearby.
After replacement, check that the tray slides in without forcing and that the SIM card is detected. Stay alert to static electricity when handling the components, and never force the connectors. If the phone shows a swollen battery, stop using it and never puncture or bend this lithium element.
