Description
The SIM tray is the small part that holds the SIM card and, depending on the model, the microSD card. It slides into the slot provided on the side of the device. When it is damaged, bent or broken, the card may sit incorrectly, no longer be recognised, or prevent the phone from detecting the network. This compatible part is designed to replace the current Mi Mix 3 tray and restore normal card insertion.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and use the ejection tool supplied with the device or a suitable needle. Work on a flat, clean surface at a moderate temperature, and avoid forcing the tray. When fitting, check the alignment before pushing the part in. Static discharge can damage components: touch an earthed metal surface before handling the device.
After replacement, check that the tray inserts and locks without resistance, then confirm that the SIM card is detected and that the network appears. If the battery was disconnected during the repair, let the phone restart normally before testing.
