Description
The SIM tray is the small part that holds the SIM card and sometimes the microSD card of your phone. It slides into the side slot and lets you change cards without opening the device. This compatible part fits the Huawei Nova 5T (2019). It replaces the tray of your device when it is broken, not closed properly, bent or no longer locks correctly.
A tray fault is often noticed when the tray no longer comes out, sticks out of its slot or lets dust and moisture in. Replacing it gives your cards a clean, firmly fixed slot, without forcing the old holder. Before you start, switch off the phone, remove the case and place the device on a flat, clean surface. Use the eject tool supplied with your device or an unfolded paper clip, pressing gently and without forcing it.
After fitting, check that the tray slides in without resistance and that the SIM card is detected correctly. Keep the current part in a safe place until testing is finished, then take a few simple precautions: avoid static electricity by touching a metal surface before handling the components, and never force small parts.
