Description
The SIM tray is the small metal or plastic piece that holds the SIM card and, on some models, the microSD card. It slides out from the side of the smartphone, allowing you to insert or remove your cards without opening the device. This part, compatible with the OnePlus 12, replaces a tray that is damaged, bent, broken or no longer clicks into place properly.
The most common faults are a tray that jams, no longer pops out, sits poorly closed or has a cracked card holder. Replacing the part restores normal operation without stressing the chassis. Before you start, switch the phone off completely, prepare a SIM ejector pin and work on a flat, clean surface so you don't lose the small components.
After fitting, check that the tray slides in without forcing and sits flush with the case. Insert your SIM card, restart the device and check network detection. If the tray rubs or sits at an angle, remove it and start again gently.
