Description

The SIM tray is the small component that holds the SIM card and, depending on the model, the memory card. It lets you insert and remove these cards without opening the device. Replacing a damaged tray is a simple repair that restores your phone to normal operation.

This compatible part for the OnePlus 5T replaces the current tray when it is broken, bent, jammed or no longer sits properly in place. These problems often stop the SIM card from being recognised correctly or the phone from detecting it. Before you start, switch off the device, remove the case and prepare a clean, well-lit area to work in.

After fitting, check that the tray slides in without forcing and that the SIM card is detected. Also test the mobile network and any memory card. To avoid electrostatic discharge, touch a metal surface before handling the components.
