SIM tray for OnePlus 9

Description

The SIM tray is the small part that holds the SIM card and, on some models, a microSD card. It slides into a slot on the side of the device and lets you insert or remove the card without opening the phone. This part, compatible with the OnePlus 9, replaces a tray that is broken, bent or hard to pull out, a common fault after repeated handling or a fall.

Before you start, switch the phone off completely and remove the protective case. Use the eject tool supplied with the phone or an unfolded paperclip, pressing gently into the hole until the tray comes out. Avoid forcing it and work on a flat, clean surface, protected from static electricity. For fitting, insert the new tray making sure it is well aligned, then push it fully home without forcing it.

After reassembly, check that the tray slides in and out smoothly, that the SIM card is held securely and that the phone detects the network. If the tray stays stuck or the phone no longer recognises the card, stop and check the alignment. Never open the phone beyond what is necessary.
