Description
The SIM tray is the small metal part that holds the SIM card and, on some models, the microSD card. It slides into the side of the phone and lets you change cards without opening the device. When it is broken, bent or no longer locks properly, the phone stops detecting the card, or the card comes loose during use.
This part, compatible with the OnePlus 9 Pro, replaces the damaged tray. It is made by a third party and offers an affordable way to get the phone working again. Before you start, switch off the device, remove the case and take care not to lose the ejector pin. Use a suitable ejection tool and a clean, flat surface to work on.
Once the tray is refitted, check that it slides in without forcing and sits flush with the frame. Insert your SIM card, restart the phone and check that the network is recognised. Handle the small parts carefully and avoid applying excessive pressure to the tray.
