Description
The SIM tray is the small part that holds the SIM card and, on some models, the memory card. It slides into a side slot of the phone and lets you insert or remove the card without opening the device. This compatible part is designed for the P Smart (2021). It replaces the SIM tray when it is damaged, bent, or no longer locks properly.
A SIM tray that no longer ejects, wobbles, or no longer recognises the SIM card can make the phone unusable for calls and data. Replacing the tray often fixes these problems without touching the rest of the device. Before starting, switch the phone off, remove the case, and use the SIM ejector tool to open the current tray.
When fitting, take the time to align the new tray in its slot without forcing it. Once in place, check that it clicks in straight and does not protrude from the frame. Put the SIM card back, turn the device on, and test calls and the mobile connection.
