Description
The SIM tray is the small part that holds the SIM card and, depending on the model, the microSD card. It slides into the edge of the phone and lets you insert or remove the cards without opening the device. This compatible tray is designed for the Huawei P30 (2019) and replaces the current part when it is broken, bent or no longer locks properly.
It fixes the most common faults: a tray that no longer pops out, one that no longer goes fully in, a damaged seal, or a card that is no longer detected after a faulty fitting. Before you start, switch the phone off and use the ejection tool to remove the old tray. Avoid forcing it if the tray resists, and place the phone on a flat surface away from heat.
After replacing it, check that the tray slides in without play, then insert the SIM card and confirm the network is detected. If the phone does not recognise the card, check its orientation and how it is inserted before concluding that the part is faulty.
