Description
The SIM tray is the small metal or plastic part that holds the SIM card and, depending on the model, a microSD card. It slides into a slot in the chassis and must stay well aligned for the contacts to work properly. This compatible tray is designed to replace the Pixel 10 tray when it is broken, bent, stuck or lost.
The most common faults are a tray that no longer ejects, comes out crooked, no longer stays in place or leaves the SIM card undetected. Before fitting, switch off the phone, remove the SIM card and place the device on a clean, flat surface. Use a suitable ejection tool and avoid forcing it if the tray resists. Check that any seal is correctly positioned and that the existing part has been fully removed.
Once the tray is refitted, insert the SIM card, switch the phone back on and check that the network is detected. Test ejecting and reinserting the tray several times to confirm it holds firmly. Keep heat moderate during any handling and avoid static electricity by touching a metal surface before you work.
