Description
The SIM tray is the small part that holds the SIM card and, on some models, the memory card. It slides into the edge of the phone and lets you insert or remove the card without opening the device. This compatible part is designed for the Google Pixel 3.
Replacing the SIM tray fixes several common faults: a tray that no longer comes out, no longer goes fully back in, is bent or broken, or a card that is no longer recognised because the holder is damaged. Before you start, switch the phone off, keep the ejector to hand and place the device on a flat, clean surface. To avoid scratching the front, work on a soft cloth or mat.
After fitting, check that the tray slides without forcing and closes flush with the edge. Insert your SIM card, switch the phone back on and check that the network is detected. If the old part was hard to remove, do not force it: take your time to release the tray carefully.
