Description
The SIM tray is the small part that holds the SIM card and, on some models, the memory card. It slides into a side slot on the phone and must stay firmly in place for the network to work properly.
This compatible version is designed to replace the tray of the Google Pixel 4a. It is especially useful when the current tray is broken, warped, bent, or can no longer be removed cleanly. It can also fix a SIM card that is no longer detected because of a deformed tray.
Before you start, switch off the phone and prepare a suitable ejection tool. Work on a flat, clean surface so nothing gets lost. Compare the current part with the new one before fitting. Once the tray is back in place, check that it slides in without forcing and sits flush with the housing. Then restart the phone and check that the SIM card is recognised.
