Description
The SIM tray is the small plate that holds the SIM card and sometimes the microSD card, and slides into the side of your Pixel 7. It lets you change cards without opening the phone. This compatible part replaces a damaged or lost tray.
The faults this replacement most often fixes are a tray that jams, won't eject, doesn't close properly, or whose card is no longer recognised because it was fitted incorrectly. Before you start, switch the phone off, note the orientation of the tray and use a suitable ejector tool to remove it without forcing it. Handle the small parts carefully and avoid static electricity by touching a metal surface before you handle them.
After fitting, check that the tray pushes fully home and sits flush with the frame. Insert your SIM card, restart the phone and check that the network is detected. If the tray remains unstable, stop and recheck the alignment rather than forcing it.
