Description
The SIM tray is the small component that holds the SIM card and microSD card in your Pixel 7a. If the tray is broken, bent or no longer ejects properly, the card may not connect correctly or may get stuck. This compatible part replaces the damaged tray so you can regain simple and clean access to your card.
Before you start, switch off the phone and prepare an ejector pin or a small fine tool. Note the orientation of the tray and the position of the card so you can put it back the right way round. Avoid forcing the tray and never bend the chassis, as the mechanism is fragile.
Once the tray is replaced, check that it slides without friction and that the SIM card is properly detected. Also check the sealing of the slot before putting the phone back into service. If the phone overheats or you notice an unusual smell, stop the procedure immediately.
