Description
The SIM tray is the small part that holds the nano-SIM card and slides into the side of the phone. This part is compatible with the Pixel 9 Pro and lets you replace a tray that is damaged, bent, broken or no longer slides out properly. It is used to reseat the SIM card and ensure good contact with the phone module, which fixes faults where the card is no longer detected or the tray gets stuck.
Before you start, power the phone off completely and use the ejector supplied with your device or a fine needle to open the tray. Work on a clean, flat surface at room temperature, and avoid static discharge by touching a metal surface before handling the components. Devices of this type are fragile at the edges: do not force them and do not bend the chassis.
Once the tray is refitted, check that it slides in without play and that the SIM card is properly detected. Test calls and mobile data before closing the device. If the old part was damp or damaged, also check the condition of the port so you do not have to repair it again later.
