Description
The SIM tray is the small part that holds the SIM card and lets you insert or remove it without opening the phone. On the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, a damaged tray can stop the card from sitting properly, cause signal loss or make the card hard to remove. This compatible tray lets you replace the current part when it is bent, cracked or worn in its slot.
Before fitting, switch the device off completely and remove the SIM card. Insert the ejector tool into the hole, then gently slide the tray out of its slot. Check that any seal is present and clean before fitting the new part. Avoid excessive force, as the frame can deform easily.
Once the tray is in place, reinsert the SIM card, switch the phone back on and check that the network is detected. Also make sure the tray inserts and removes without resistance. If the phone shows signs of abnormal heat or a component looks damaged, stop the procedure.
