Description
The SIM tray is the small metal or plastic part that holds the SIM card and lets you insert or remove it without opening the phone. When it is bent, cracked, stuck or lost, the card no longer sits correctly and the network may no longer be detected. This compatible tray is designed for the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL and replaces the current part when it is damaged.
Before fitting, switch off the phone and disconnect it. Use a suitable ejection tool to release the old tray without forcing the chassis. Mind static electricity by working on a clean surface without synthetic mats. Take the time to align the new tray before refitting it, so that it slides in without effort.
Once the tray is installed, insert a SIM card and check that the phone detects it properly. Also check that the tray slides without resistance and that the card stays securely in place. If the network does not appear, restart the device before concluding that the part is faulty.
