Description
The SIM tray is the small part that holds the SIM card and, depending on the model, the microSD memory card. It slides into the side slot of the phone. When it is broken, bent or worn, it can stop the card from sitting properly, make network detection unstable or block the tray from ejecting altogether.
This part is a version compatible with the Poco C40, made by a third party. It does not come from the phone manufacturer. It offers an affordable solution for replacing a faulty tray without spending more.
Before you start, switch off the phone and insert the ejection tool into the small hole in the tray. Press gently, without forcing it. Check that the new part fits properly in its housing and slides without excessive friction. After fitting, test inserting a SIM card, then restart the phone to confirm the network is detected correctly.
