Description
The SIM tray is the small part that holds the SIM card and, depending on the model, the microSD card. It slides into the side of the phone and lets you insert or remove the cards without opening the device. When it is damaged, bent or broken, the card can sit incorrectly, stop being detected or get stuck. This compatible SIM tray for Poco C81 Pro replaces the current part when it is damaged.
Before you start, switch off the phone and remove the case. Use the SIM ejector tool to open the old tray, then compare the new part with the old one to check the shape and the position of the notches. Handle it carefully, avoid static electricity by holding it by the edges, and do not touch the contacts.
After reassembly, insert a SIM card and, if needed, a microSD card. Check that the tray slides in without forcing, that the cards are detected and that the device restarts correctly. If the part catches or a card cannot be read, take the tray out again and check its alignment.
Tips
- Switch off the phone before removing the current tray
- Never force the tray into its slot
- Compare the notch and shape with the current part
- Avoid static electricity by handling the part by its edges
- Test SIM card detection before closing the case
