Description
The SIM tray is the small part that holds the SIM card and sometimes the microSD card of your smartphone. It slides into the side of the device and lets you remove or reinsert the cards without opening the phone. When it is broken, bent or no longer closes properly, the card may not be detected, the network may disappear or the tray may get stuck. This compatible SIM tray is designed for the Poco F5 and replaces the current part when it is damaged.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and remove the case. Use a suitable ejection pin to open the tray, then disconnect the battery if your disassembly requires it, especially before handling the ribbon cables. Work on a clean surface and avoid static electricity by regularly touching an earthed metal surface. Never force the parts and keep heat moderate.
After fitting, reinsert the SIM card and check that the tray clicks into place without play. Switch the phone back on, check network detection and, if you have replaced a battery, let it complete a few full charge cycles to return to normal operation.
