Description
The SIM tray is the small part that holds the SIM card and, depending on the model, the memory card. It slides into the side of the phone and is removed with the ejection tool supplied with the device. When it is damaged, bent or broken, the card no longer sits properly, the phone no longer detects the network or the tray refuses to go in.
This compatible Poco M5s part replaces the faulty tray. It is made by a third party and is fitted in place of the current part, without any special tool. Before you start, switch off the phone, keep away from any heat source and work on a clean surface. Remember to discharge your static electricity by touching an earthed metal object.
After fitting, check that the tray slides in without forcing and that the SIM card is correctly seated. Switch the phone back on, check network detection and, if you have a memory card, that it works properly. Never force the tray into place.
