Description
The SIM tray is the small metal or plastic part that holds the SIM card and, depending on the model, the memory card. It slides into its slot on the side of the phone. This compatible part replaces the tray of your Poco M6 Pro 4G when it is broken, bent, or no longer closes properly.
The faults it can fix are typical: a tray that no longer ejects, gets stuck halfway, or has a cracked holder. A SIM card that is not detected can sometimes come from being wrongly positioned in the tray, but if the tray itself is damaged, replacing it is the simplest solution.
Before you start, switch off the phone and use the suitable ejection tool. Work on a flat surface with good light, and avoid static charge by touching a metal object regularly. Once the new tray is fitted, check that it slides without forcing, that the SIM card is held securely, and that the phone detects it after restarting.
