Description
The SIM tray is the small part that holds the SIM card and, depending on the model, the memory card. It slides into a side slot on the phone. When it is broken, bent or worn, the card may sit incorrectly, no longer be detected or get stuck when you insert it.
This version is a compatible part for the Redmi 12C, made by a third party. It lets you replace the damaged tray without touching the rest of the device. Before you start, switch off the phone, remove the case and use the ejection tool to take out the current tray. Work gently so you do not damage the chassis or the internal contacts.
After fitting, check that the tray slides in without forcing and stays properly aligned with the wall. Insert a SIM card, switch the device back on and check that the network is detected. If the tray rubs or does not close properly, stop and check its position before pushing further.
