Description
The SIM tray is the small part that holds the SIM card and, depending on the model, the microSD card. It slides into the side slot of the phone. When it is broken, bent or worn, the card may connect poorly, the tray may get stuck or the card may no longer be detected. This tray, compatible with the Redmi 13, lets you replace the faulty part without touching the rest of the device.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and remove the existing tray using an ejector tool. Check that the new tray matches the slot by comparing its shape and notches with the old one. Work on a flat, clean surface and avoid sudden movements that could damage the internal board. Handle the components carefully and discharge static electricity by touching a metal surface before you begin.
Once the tray is back in place, insert a SIM card and check that the tray clicks in without forcing it. Switch the phone on and confirm that the network is detected. If the device does not recognise the card, switch it off, reinsert the tray and repeat the test.
