Description
The SIM tray is the small component that holds the SIM card and, depending on the model, the memory card. On the Redmi 13R, it lets you insert and remove these cards without opening the phone. When it is broken, bent or no longer clicks into place properly, the card may not be recognised, the network may disappear or the tray may get stuck.
This part is a compatible version, made by a third party. It matches the dimensions of the Redmi 13R slot so that it fits in place of the current part. Before starting, switch off the phone, place it on a clean surface and insert the ejection tool into the small hole of the tray, without forcing it. Keep the SIM card away during the whole operation.
After replacement, check that the tray closes without play and that the card is detected correctly. Restart the phone to check the network. If the tray rubs or seems misaligned, stop and readjust before continuing.
