Description
The SIM tray is the small part that holds the SIM card and, on some models, the memory card. It slides into the side slot of the phone and lets you insert or remove the cards without opening the device. This compatible part is designed for the Redmi 14C.
When the tray is broken, bent or worn, it may no longer click into place properly, the SIM card does not stay in position, or the phone no longer detects the network. Replacing the tray fixes these faults without touching the rest of the device. Before fitting, switch the phone off and use the ejection tool to remove the old tray. Take the time to line up the new part properly before pushing it in.
After replacement, check that the tray clicks in without forcing, that the SIM card is correctly positioned and that the network is detected. If the tray does not go in, do not force it and check the alignment. Keep the ejection tool within reach.
