Description
The SIM tray is the small part that holds the SIM card and the microSD card and slides into the side of the phone. When it is broken, bent or no longer comes out, the card can no longer be read properly or the tray stays stuck. This compatible tray is designed to replace the current part of the Redmi A2 so that your cards insert and eject normally again.
Before you start, switch off the phone and remove the protective case. Use a suitable ejection tool to take out the old tray without forcing the chassis. Compare the shape and cut-outs of the new tray with the old one before fitting, to check that it matches your model.
Once the tray is in place, insert it gently to avoid bending it. Check that it clicks in without play and that the SIM card is recognised after restarting. Handle the components with care and avoid static electricity by working on a clean surface.
