Description
The SIM tray is the small part that holds the SIM card and sometimes the microSD card, and slides into the phone. When it is broken, bent or worn, the card no longer sits properly, the phone does not detect it, or the tray refuses to go back in. This compatible tray is designed for the Redmi A3 and lets you replace the current part when it is damaged.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and remove the case if necessary. Insert the ejector tool into the small hole beside the tray, then apply gentle, steady pressure to pull it out. Note the position of the SIM card and the microSD card. Work on a clean, flat surface and avoid electrostatic discharge by touching a metal surface before handling the components.
After fitting, check that the tray slides in without forcing and that the cards are recognised after a restart. If the phone still does not detect the card, check its insertion direction and correct positioning. Do not bend the tray and never force it into place.
