Description
The SIM tray is the small part that holds the SIM card and microSD card and slides into the side of the phone. When it is broken, bent or worn, the card no longer fits properly or the phone does not recognise it. This tray, compatible with the Redmi A7 Pro, replaces the current part and gives you a clean, correctly positioned slot for your cards.
This part is made by a third party and is presented as compatible with the model. It is suitable for a simple repair of the SIM slot, without changing the rest of the device. Before you start, switch off the phone, remove the case and use the ejector tool to take out the old tray. Work on a clean surface and avoid static electricity by touching a metal surface before handling the components.
After fitting, reinsert the SIM card and check that it clicks into place without forcing it and that the tray closes flush with the frame. Turn the device back on and check that the network and storage are detected. If the tray is still hard to insert, pull it out and check its alignment rather than forcing it.
