Description
The SIM tray is the small part that holds the SIM card and, depending on the model, the microSD card. It slides into the side of the phone and lets you insert or remove these cards without opening the device. This part, compatible with the Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus 5G, replaces the tray when it is bent, broken, jammed or no longer closes properly.
Before replacing it, switch off the phone and remove the SIM card and microSD card so they are not lost. Compare the new tray with the current part to check the shape, size and position of the notch. Work on a clean, flat surface and avoid touching electronic components to limit the risk of static electricity.
Once the tray is fitted, check that it slides in without force and locks securely in its slot. Then reinsert the cards, switch the device back on and check that the SIM card is detected. If the current part shows a bulge or crack on the battery, stop using the phone until it has been checked.
