Description
The SIM tray is the small part that holds the SIM card and sometimes the microSD card in your phone. When it jams, bends or no longer reinserts properly, the phone stops detecting the card, or the tray sits badly in its slot. This compatible SIM tray for Redmi Note 12 Pro lets you replace the current part and get normal use of your SIM card back.
Before fitting, switch off the phone and remove the case if necessary. Use a pin or an ejection tool to take out the old tray without forcing the frame. Watch out for static electricity and work on a clean, dry surface. If the battery needs to be disconnected to access the slot, proceed carefully and never pierce or bend a lithium element.
After fitting, check that the tray clicks into place and lines up with the frame. Insert your SIM card, switch the phone back on and check network detection. If the phone does not recognise the card, check the card orientation and the tray position before concluding there is a fault.
