Description
The SIM tray is the small part that holds the SIM card and the microSD card of your smartphone. When it is broken, bent or no longer closes properly, the card may not connect correctly, the device may stop detecting the network or the tray may get stuck. This compatible tray is designed to replace the current part on the Redmi Note 12S and restore normal use of your cards.
Before you start, switch off the phone completely and pull out the tray using the ejection tool. Work on a flat surface at room temperature, and protect the device from static electricity by avoiding synthetic carpets. Remove the current part gently, without forcing it, then insert the new tray, checking that it is properly aligned with the chassis.
After fitting, insert your SIM and microSD cards, switch the phone back on and check that the network is detected and that the tray closes without effort. If a fault appears, switch off the device and check the alignment before starting again.
