Description
The SIM tray is the small part that holds the SIM card and, sometimes, the microSD card of your smartphone. It slides into the side of the device and is removed using the ejection tool supplied with the phone. Over time it can warp, crack or no longer lock the card properly, causing a loss of signal or a tray that no longer fits back in.
This part, compatible with the Redmi Note 13 Pro, replaces the faulty tray. It restores a stable fit for the SIM card and good contact with the connectors on the motherboard. Before you start, switch off the device, remove the case and keep the ejection tool within reach. Work on a flat, clean, well-lit surface and avoid excessive heat.
After fitting, insert the tray without forcing it, check that it clicks into its slot and that the SIM card is recognised. Also check the seal of the slot before refitting the case. If you run into a difficulty, do not force it and repeat the step calmly.
