Description
The SIM tray is the small metal or plastic part that holds the SIM card and, depending on the model, the memory card. It slides into its side slot on the phone. When it is bent, broken, jammed or its seal no longer holds, the card is no longer recognised or the tray no longer ejects properly. This compatible part is designed to replace the damaged SIM tray of the Redmi Note 14S.
Before you start, switch off the phone and remove the case. Locate the ejection hole, carefully insert the supplied tool or an unfolded paper clip, then gently pull out the tray. Check that the slot is clean and free of debris. Avoid excessive heat and handle the phone away from static electricity.
After fitting, check that the tray inserts and ejects without forcing it, then restart the device and check that the SIM card is detected. If the phone does not work as expected, repeat the positioning check before drawing any conclusion.
