Description
The SIM tray is the small part that holds the SIM card and, depending on the model, the memory card. It slides into its slot on the side of the phone. When it is cracked, warped or worn, it may no longer hold the card properly, cause poor contact or prevent the card from being inserted. This compatible SIM tray for Redmi Note 15 4G lets you replace the current part so your phone works normally again.
Before you start, switch off the phone and remove the existing tray using a pin or a suitable ejector tool. Work on a flat, clean surface, away from static electricity. Check that the new tray matches the shape of the slot, without burrs or excessive play, and avoid forcing it when inserting.
Once the tray is back in place, reinsert the SIM card, switch the phone on and check that the card is detected and that the tray closes without resistance. With a compatible part, a slight difference in finish may sometimes be noticed; it does not affect proper operation if the fitting is correct.
