Description
The SIM tray is the small metal or plastic piece that holds the SIM card and, sometimes, the microSD card. It slides into the side of the phone and lets you change cards without opening the device. When it is broken, bent or no longer clicks into place properly, the phone stops detecting the card, or the tray gets stuck halfway out.
This part compatible with the Redmi Note 15 Pro 4G replaces the current tray without changing how the SIM card works. Before fitting it, switch the phone off completely and remove the SIM card and the microSD card. Check that the part matches your device's reference and compare it with the old tray, in particular the shape of the notches and the position of the contacts.
Once the tray is installed, reinsert it gently without forcing it, then check that it slides and locks correctly. Restart the phone and verify that the SIM card is recognised. When handling the part, avoid knocks and static electricity, and use a suitable ejection tool rather than your fingers.
