Description
The SIM tray is the small part that holds the SIM card and, depending on the model, the memory card. It slides into the edge of the phone and lets you insert or remove the card without opening the device. When it is bent, broken, jammed or no longer closes properly, the SIM card does not stay in place, the network can be lost and the phone no longer detects the card.
This version is a compatible part for the Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus 5G, made by a third party. It replaces the current part when it is damaged. Before fitting, switch the phone off completely and remove the SIM card and the memory card. To extract the old tray, use a pin or a suitable ejection tool, without forcing it and without touching the visible components inside.
After installing the new tray, check that it slides without friction and clicks properly into its housing. Put the SIM card back, turn the phone on and check network detection. Handle the part carefully to limit electrostatic discharge, and avoid excessive heat during the repair.
