Description
The SIM tray is the small part that holds the SIM card and, depending on the model, the memory card. It slides into the side slot of the phone and lets you insert or remove the cards without opening the device. When it is broken, bent, jammed or no longer comes out properly, the card may no longer be recognised or the tray may stay stuck in the housing.
This compatible SIM tray is intended for the Risio 4. It is a third-party part, offered as an economical solution to replace the current one. Before fitting, switch off the phone, remove the battery if your model allows it and use an ejection tool to open the tray. Work in a clean place and avoid static electricity by touching an earthed metal object.
After replacement, check that the tray inserts and locks without forcing, then confirm that the SIM card is properly detected. Never force the tray and do not bend it. If the current part was damaged by an impact or liquid ingress, also inspect the slot and the contacts before reassembling the phone.
