Description
The SIM tray is the small metal or plastic part that holds the SIM card and, depending on the model, the microSD card. It slides into the edge of the phone and makes contact with the internal connectors. This compatible part is designed for the Galaxy Note 20 and replaces a tray that is damaged, bent or no longer ejects properly.
It restores normal operation when the phone no longer detects the SIM card, when the tray gets stuck or comes loose. Before fitting, switch off the device, remove the case and use the ejector to take out the old tray. Work on a clean surface and avoid static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface before handling the components.
After replacement, check that the tray slides in without forcing and that the SIM card sits correctly, then restart the phone to check network detection. Never force the insertion: a misaligned tray can damage the internal connector.
