Description
The SIM tray is the small component that holds the SIM card and, on some models, the microSD card. It slides into the side slot of the phone and must stay firmly in place so the device can recognise the card. This tray compatible with Galaxy S10 is designed to replace one that is damaged, bent or no longer ejects properly.
The most common faults this part can fix include a tray that jams, no longer clicks into place, lets dust in or no longer holds the card. If the phone no longer detects the SIM even though the card is in good condition, the tray may be the cause.
Before you start, switch off the device and open the tray with an ejection tool. Work on a flat, clean surface and avoid static electricity. Once the new tray is fitted, check that it slides in without forcing, that the SIM card is correctly positioned and that the device detects it after restarting.
