Description

The SIM tray is the small part that holds your smartphone's SIM card and sometimes its microSD memory card. It slides into the side slot of the device and makes contact with the internal connectors. When it is bent, cracked, stuck or lost, the card is no longer detected, the network disappears or the tray will not open properly. This compatible tray lets you replace the current part when one of these problems appears.

Before you start, switch the Galaxy S10e off completely and have a suitable ejection tool ready to release the old tray. Work on a clean, flat surface with good lighting, and keep the small parts in a safe place. Avoid applying excessive force to the chassis and take care with static electricity, for example by touching an earthed metal surface before handling the components.

Once the tray is fitted, check that it slides in without force and clicks properly into its housing. Insert the SIM card, restart the device and check that the network is detected. If the tray remains slightly misaligned or the card is not recognised, stop and recheck the positioning before forcing anything.
