Description
The SIM tray is the small part that holds the SIM card and, depending on the model, the microSD card. It fits into the side of the device and connects the card to the phone. This part, compatible with the Galaxy S24+, is used to replace a tray that is broken, bent or no longer ejects properly.
If the tray is damaged, the SIM card may no longer be detected, the tray may get stuck in its slot, or the card may move and lose contact. A new tray fixes these faults and restores a clean, stable insertion. Before you start, switch off the device, prepare an ejection pin and a holder so nothing gets lost, and work in a clean, well-lit place.
When fitting, avoid forcing the tray and protect the electronics against static electricity. After reassembly, check that the SIM card is properly recognised and that the tray closes without play or resistance.
