Description
The SIM tray is the small metal or plastic part that holds the SIM card and, depending on the model, the microSD card. It slides into its side slot and lets you insert or remove the cards without opening the phone. When it is broken, bent or stuck, the card no longer sits properly or the phone no longer detects the network.
This compatible part is designed for the Galaxy S7 Active. It replaces the current part when it is damaged, without changing the rest of the device. Before you start, switch off the phone, use the ejector tool supplied with the device or an unfolded paper clip, and work on a clean surface. Avoid sudden movements so you do not damage the neighbouring connectors.
After fitting, insert the SIM card into the new tray, put it back in place and check that it slides in without forcing. Switch on the device and check that the network is detected. If the phone still does not recognise the card, check its insertion direction and correct positioning before concluding there is another problem.
